COTTONWOOD ADVENTURE

November 10-12, 2010 (Wed, Thu & Fri)

$379 per person, double occupancy
$499 per person, single supplement

We will leave Lake Havasu City, stopping in route for a break before we stop for lunch on your own in Prescott. Prescott is dotted with lavish opportunities for delicious dining in quaint establishments and great shopping in charming boutiques, art galleries and antique stores loaded with memorabilia and bargains!

Following lunch we will drop off the hill heading to the town of Sedona. Imagine that you are on a trip through the Southwest, and you want to bring home mementos for yourself, family and friends.  Sedona—a city teeming with artists and artisans; boutiques, galleries and one-of-a-kind shops; is a perfect place to find that special something. We will then check-in to our hotel in Cottonwood where you will have time to freshen up before we have dinner at Casa Bonita located on the hotel property.

The next morning following breakfast we’ll visit the Gold King Mine Ghost Town near Jerome. In the afternoon we will head to the Verde Canyon Railroad Station where we will pick up a boxed lunch on the patio before we board the Verde Canyon Train. A ride on Verde Canyon Railroad's historic route from Clarkdale to the ghost ranch of Perkinsville and back into Arizona's other grand canyon is an unforgettable experience.
Following the train ride we will head for the Blazing M Ranch. The fun begins as you enter the Old West courtyard where you will enjoy the wide variety of Western sights and activities. When the dinner bell rings you will be treated to the all-you-can-eat chuckwagon grub served by our cowpokes on a tin plate and tin cup. After supper, sit back and enjoy the harmonic sounds of the famous Blazin’ M Cowboys western musical show.

On our last morning we have breakfast at our hotel before we head for the Out of Africa Wildlife Park. You will experience an authentic African photo safari narrated by experienced guides. Treats are provided so that you can feed the animals. You will be provided with a box lunch and take a break before we attend “Tiger Splash.” You will “oooh and aaah” while the tigers interact romping and splashing in their pool as they play with their caretakers and colorful toys. We will then reboard our bus for our return trip to Lake Havasu City.
